STEM Event with Microsoft HOLA

Microsoft HOLA is set to ignite the minds of budding tech enthusiasts with its upcoming STEM event. With an array of captivating activities lined up, participants will delve into the realm of innovation and technology. From programming robot cars to exploring the wonders of AI-powered innovation, attendees will embark on a journey of discovery and hands-on learning. Moreover, a career panel discussion will provide invaluable insights, shedding light on the diverse range of roles available in the IT field. This event promises to inspire and empower the next generation of tech leaders, fostering a passion for STEM that knows no bounds.

Program is geared for middle and high school girls in the DMV area.


10 AM – 11 AM: Programming Robot Cars STEM Project

11:00 – 11:45 – A Career Panel Discussion with a focus on helping students understand the variety of roles available in the IT field.

12 PM – 1 PM – Lunch provided by Microsoft

1:00 – 2:30 – Prompt engineering using Artificial Intelligence to create images and subsequently printing those images on a T-Shirt, which students can take home as a souvenir

2:30 – 3:00 – Closing & Q&A
