Who we are
Latinas Leading Tomorrow (LLT) is an Arlington based 501(c)(3) non-profit serving Latina students in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. LLT offers inclusive Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics education, leadership development, personal development programs, and mentoring. LLT is working towards a future where systemic barriers are dismantled and every child is provided the resources to achieve college and career readiness. Our programs and initiatives celebrate and uplift Latina culture, traditions, and lived experiences. As an equity minded organization, LLT offers programs led by bilingual volunteers at no cost.
Our history
Latinas Leading Tomorrow was founded in 2004 in Arlington, Virginia, as an after-school program at Wakefield High School by Latina students and their counselor, Madeline LaSalle Frazier, Founder. This initiative was designed to address the needs of underserved, first-generation college-bound Latinas, offering them Latina role models to guide them through their educational journeys. The vision was to uplift the voices of Latinas and create an equal playing field, empowering them to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Dayana is a client-centric, performance-driven business banking professional with over 21 years of experience delivering results.
Dayana was born in Quito, Ecuador, and takes great pride in her heritage. She is passionate about giving back to the community and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management from George Mason University and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and International Business from the University of Scranton.

Data Governance Manager, BNY
Sol currently holds the position of Vice President of Data Governance at BNY, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing data governance strategies and ensuring compliance with the firm’s record management policies. She holds an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and also earned her Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification.
Rebecca Singhavong

Rebecca is a financial leader, currently serving as Director of Financial Reporting at Nightwing Technology, a Blackstone portfolio company. With over two decades of expertise in financial controls, business transformation, and system optimization, she drives operational excellence in fast-growth environments.
A first-generation Nicaraguan-American and passionate advocate, Singhavong is committed to empowering the next generation of Latina leaders. She holds a CPA, a bachelor’s in Accounting from UMGC, and an MBA in Executive Leadership from James Madison University.
Cristina Dar
LLT STEMpower Camp Chair
Cristina Dar, M.Eng. is an award-winning engineering and public health leader with over 15 years of experience. She currently serves as Chief of the Exports Compliance Branch at the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research focusing on drug exports. Cristina holds a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The Catholic University of America.

Ruby Duffau
External Relations Chair
Ruby Duffau is a strategic partnerships leader with a background spanning STEM, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Following her U.S. Air Force service, she spent 7.5 years in aerospace before founding an independent publishing company supporting underrepresented authors. She currently serves as Manager of Partnerships at Claim Climbers.
Ruby holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology, an MBA in Global Business, and is pursuing a PhD in Developmental Psychology. A first-generation college graduate, she is committed to expanding tangible opportunities for young Latinas.
